[ Nomura Center News No.87 ]

We have been sending our English newsletter, Nomura Center News, out to the Representatives of the United Nations, UNESCO, and Ambassadors to Japan as well as our International Network. However, due to the pandemic of COVID-19, the international mail has been confined/delayed and we have decided to switch our paper-based English newsletter to digital format to put it on our website from the No.85 issue.

Being in the midst of fourth wave in Japan we now face the overwhelming hospitals especially in metropolitan cities.
While we see signs of overcoming this crisis in some countries due to the countermeasures taken in respective regions, it is hoped that vaccination will be supplied broadly and speedy so that as many people as possible get immunization.
As we learn that the society is not there by itself but it is us human being that have made our family, society, and the world, we would like to try our best to deepen our sense of living together starting with our close relationships.

In the end, we sincerely wish that as many readers as possible will find time to read our English newsletter and would like to receive any comment and impression.
